Malouf on the Plaza
This week we are thrilled to add Malouf on the Plaza to our featured partners list. We connected with Scott Malouf, the store’s owner, last year when we were producing a video about bespoke shopping in downtown Santa Fe. Malouf’s on the Plaza captures a shopper’s imagination; in fact, our managing partner Tara Earley recently purchased a new necklace at the shop that she is still smiling about. I asked Tara about the necklace and her recent shopping experience at Malouf’s.
“ I recently acquired a necklace made by Navajo artist, Rose Martin, that features a stunning Royston turquoise stone. Scott Malouf and Jack Cohen were terrific to work with. It could not have been a more pleasurable transaction. "

Owner Scott Malouf divides the stores focus into three parts: jewelry, weavings and fashion. The store’s collection features a separate rug room devoted to Navajo textiles and weaving—both antique and contemporary. The rug room also displays work that references traditional Native American designs, but is made by Zapotec Indians in Central Mexico. In addition to textiles, the store's focus is on luxury jewelry from local and regional artists. The most recent addition to Malouf’s on the Plaza is a fashion for both men and women.
If you live out of town, or have not been into the store before, have a look at our video on bespoke shopping below. To preview some of the gorgeous jewelry currently available and to learn more about Malouf's check out their WEBSITE.
